share printer
i want to share the printer on windows 7 machine with xp machine can it be done?

Yes it can. Im assuming youre using a router, a network has been set up and the printer is currently connected to the XP machine! 1. If so, on the XP machine, go to Control Panel > Printers & Faxes, right-click the printer, click Sharing, check Share this printer. 2. Now, on the Windows 7 machine, go to Network > Add a printer at the top > Add a Network, wireless or Bluetooth and follow the wizard. Bear in mind that the printer and the PC that its connected to must be switched on, unless you have a proper wireless printer/adapter.

no i have the printer on the windows 7 machine and wanted the xp machine to be able to use it

Go to printer propeties in win7.select Sharing tab------> CHECK share this printer & render too.then click on ADDITIONAL DRIVERS button. and make sure x86 is checked.. if not check and you might need to install the driver for it...And that it...Now I assume you have the netwrok wokring already between xp and w7.in XP go to printers and ADD new printer... netwrok printer and go to w7 and you should see the printer..hope this help..
