share internet of a wireless lan with a lan to another computer
hi i have a labtop and a pc have a lan card and an adsl modem that have wireless i want to connect my pc to internet with this wayconnect that to my labtop with the lan cable and my labtop is connect to the internet with its wireless note: i save my username and password on my modem to connect to the internetnote: i cannot connect pc to the modem because of some problem how can i using my labtop and its lan to connect that pc to internet?1 person needs an answerI do too

HiThis is done usually by ICS, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306126/en-us Never the less I do not understand why you cannot connect through your Modem/Router. because of i cannot take the pc to side of the adsl modem and i dont have any cable which length is most to connect pc to adsl in other word my pc is far of my adsl modem ok?

Are you still trying to connect to the modem using wireless or are you now trying to use an ethernet cable?The plan suggests wireless and your message ethernet cable! Hope this helps, Gerry Cornell

x-(i tell u more and more that i cannot connect my pc to the modem directlybecause of this i want to connect the pc to the internet using my labtop which can connect to the internet using its wireless lan do u understand???i cannot connect pc to the modem with a ethernet cable i dont have it and i dont want to sell iti have just an ethernet cable which length is enough to connect pc to my labtop
