setting home group
 0 please help me: when i want to set a home group in my pc (windows 7) i see this message: windows can not set up a home group in this computer. and in event log i read this:" The HomeGroup Listener service depends on the Server service which failed to start because of the following error: The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. when i start home group listener manually i get the same message. what can i do?

Hi , Make sure the dependencies of HomeGroup Listener service are started. The following services should be started and set to automatic: DCOM Server Process Launcher RPC Endpoint Mapper Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Security Accounts Manager 1.Click Start, Run and type Services.msc 2.Double-click the HomeGroup Listener 3.Choose dependencies tab and maximize all the services listed. 4.Go to services and check if those services are running.Tracy Cai TechNet Community Support
