For what? The operating system, Internet Explorer, or both? What is causing you to want to do this? Please help us help you: http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Usenet (you can ignore the references to Usenet/newsgroups since you are posting on a web forum but the suggestions about how to write the post are applicable here too) http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/555375 - How to Ask a QuestionMS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

What problem? Again, I would love to help you but I can't see your computer from here and have no idea what's wrong. If you find it hard to write it - and I say that meaning in no way to offend you but recognizing that "tech talk" is hard if you're not a tech - then take the computer to someone local and skilled who can diagnose the issue hands-on. Don't use a BigComputerStore/GeekSquad type of place.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

OK... I need to install ActiveX - this all started when I tried to do that. Now I get a yellow or gold bar across the top everytime I try to do anything. When I click the "information box" on that bar, I get "your security settingswill not allow you to install ActiveX without proper signature validation"I use my computer... rather I did use my computer to work at home, butafter I received my new CAC card, nothing works and I get these crazysecurity blocks for everything...I do not know how to fix it... work security told me to uninstall by old signatureand install by new signature... At this point I've done and undone... installed and uninstalled so many thingsI don't know what I actually have on my computer - I know I don't have ActiveXand it will not allow me to install it...which will also not allow me to install Adobe shockwave!!!
