Should I get rid of itYou will see this warning in Internet Explorer, when you attempt to open a secure web page that contains "mixed content". It is a common problem with Internet Banking.Internet Banking websites should always use secure (HTTPS) web addresses. However, some secure pages contain links to insecure (HTTP) addresses, to generate graphics and similar content (such as logos). That is known as "mixed content".Mixed content is a symptom of a badly designed website, because insecure links could be used to harvest passwords or other sensitive information. You have no way of knowing whether insecure content on your bank's website is safe or malicious. Consequently, you should always respond to the warning that "you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely".You asked, How can I get rid of it? Should I get rid of it?You could get rid of these warnings, but only if you understand the risks. To do so, you must:Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools / Internet Options / SecuritySelect the Internet Zone and click on Custom Level ...In the resulting menu, scroll down to "Display Mixed Content" and select one of the following options:"Prompt". This is the default option, which generates the popup warnings."Disable". This option is safe. I use it on my own computers, because it prevents me from viewing insecure content - without the annoying popups."Enable". This option suppresses the popup warnings, but also allows you to view insecure content. This is potentially dangerous and definitely not recommended.
