scripted proxy-Activation W8.1 with VAMT 3.1

Hi,
we have imported and activate W8.1-Clients with VAMT 3.1 (Computer < 25).

Customer want periodically re-image this clients. How we can do an automated VAMT-proxy-activation of this clients with a script and the exported "PC.cilx"-File?

In earlier versions of VAMT there was a vamt.exe with some switches to do this (like /i <input CIL file path>). In 3.1 exist only some powershell commands.

Thanks Heiko

Hi Heiko,

The Volume Activation Management Tool (VAMT) PowerShell cmdlets can be used to perform the same functions as the Vamt.exe command-line tool.

For more information, please read this article:

not helpful, I wrote already, that I have to use powershell in 3.1 and know google ;-)

Helpful for vamt 2.0: http://systemscenter.ru/vamthelp.en/html/00354365-bc7f-408f-83fb-00fe5ef49f55.htm

Look for a similiar description for vamt 3.1

Heiko,

Yes, VAMT PowerShell cmdlets require Windows PowerShell. Since the old tool has been removed. A PowerShell module for VAMT replaces the vamt.exe command line interface.
