Each time I start up my Studio XPS I also have to reset my screen resolution. I have tried to find anything or anyone that could help but to no avail. My operating system is Windows 7 home

Which Studio XPS (by Dell specifically) do you have. Did you upgrade from Vista or XP or did you do a clean install or custom install? Its most likely a video driver problem. Can you let us know your comptuer's detail model?If you connect a second monitor with your machine when boot, if yes, please let us know the monitor's model.When does your issue began to happen?I recommend you updating the graphic card driver from the Dell site according to your pc's model.Good luck!
