I have seen this with nVidia video drivers. Do you have an nVidia card? Are your video drivers for your particular video card up to date?-Noel

Hello Gamboa_CZ, 1. Be assured that you have already has the latest driver installed for your graphic card. What is the exact model of your device? 2. If the problem only occurred in Internet Explorer, follow the steps below. 1. Run IE with No Add-ons Click Start, copy and paste Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) into Start Search box and press Enter. Change the cookie settings and have a test. 2. Reset IE7 1) Click Start button-> Control Panel. 2) Change to Classic View on the left pane and double-click the Internet Options icon. 3) On the Security tab, click Default level button for each icon in the Select a zone to view or change security settings. 4) Click to Programs tab, and then click the Make default button if it is not grayed out. 5) Click to Advanced tab, click Restore advanced settings button in the Settings area. 6) Click the Reset button in the Reset Internet Explorer settings area and Click OK. 7) Click Apply, and then click OK. Good luck! Andy

Andy, I am using IE8 with an Nvidia 7600 GT graphics card. How do I reset IE8 and if I reset it and it solves the problem, will I ever be able to use add-ons again? Thanks

The likelihood of an add-on causing a Video Driver reset are remote, but to answer your question you can start Internet Explorer without Add-Ons temporarily like this: 1. Click the Start button. 2. Type internetin the search box. 3. Click on Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) in the list that's displayed. This will not affect your ability to use Add-ons in the future. I recommend you review the list of Add-ons from time to time and disable things you don't know you need. Lots of sites load lots of software into Internet Explorer, and few of them are updated to specifically work with Windows 7. I also recommend changing your IE security settings to prompt you before allowing an Add-on to be installed. Carefully consider whether you really want the software that a given web site wants to install, as with any installation there is the probability that it contains malware or will degrade your computers performance or stability. -Noel
