run the webserver in vmware
helloi run the webserver in host os(xp pro) and now i want run the webserver in guest osin the host os i set the follow thingsrouter setting page(ip sharer setting page)1.DHCP using OFF2.DMZ host server using ON 192.168.10.2013.virtual server setting 192.168.10.201 TCP port external port 81 internal port 81TCP/IP1.use the following IP address 192.168.10.2012.default gateway 192.168.10.13.DNS Setting4.in the Advanced tab >> Internet Connection Sharing >> VMware Network Adapter VMnet 8for now, when somebody else try to access to My WAN IP then Host server page is apear(from external network)if I stop the host's webserver then cannot access to My WAN IP and In the VMware I set the(Windows XP Pro)TCP/IP setting1.use the following ip address 192.168.88.2012.default gateway 192.168.88.23.DNS setting4.and Click the guest os tab and click Edit>>virtual network editor>>NAT VMnet host is VMnet85.NAT setting>>Port forwarding >> Add >> host port 81 virtual machine ip address 192.168.88.201 port 81and for now access to 192.168.88.201 in guest os is ok the page is apear but nothing is apear when try to access to My WAN IP from external network and if I Start the Host webserver then host's page is apear which is im no intend tohow can i make the webserver of guest os to access from other network?in guest os i can access the guest's webserver by access to 192.168.10.201but i cant access the guest's webserver by access from host os by hit the 192.168.10.201any ideas?My vmware version is vmware-workstation-6.5.2 for windows1 person got this answerI do too
