Hello,

Since yesterday, out of nowhere, this message keeps popping up: rlgge.exe This application could not be started.

When I click "yes" to see what is that about, the Microsoft Support suggests that I cannot solve this problem by myself. That I have to contact the app vendor to resolve the issue.

However, I don't know what app vendor I have to contact, or how I do that. Because I'm not trying to launch any app, or anything at all, when the message pops up. I have Windows 8. When this message started showing, I was only doing some research on the internet and using Word. That's all. While I write this message, it have already popped over 10 times.

I've used CCleaner and nothing happened... I don't know what extension is that, I've searched through my entire computer and found nothing...I've even tried to disable the google chrome extensions just in case. I don't know whats going on. The message keeps popping every 30 seconds or so. Is this some kind of malware?

Please, someone help me.

We wonder if there is any luck your issue has been resolved, if you've found solution by yourself. We would appreciate it if you could share with us and we will mark it as answer.

I didnt find anything about rlgge.exe online so we might need your system information to check what program you are running as what mentioned by XP ROCKS.

Also could you please check this issue under clean boot so we can narrow down that if this application was call by system or some other software.
