You may try a System Restore. Select any restore point before this issue.

Alternatively you may try ShellExView

Hi Shoonzy,

When did the issue start to occur ?Have you installed any third party software before ?
To get a better performance of the machine ,please always keep it up to date.

We can  try the following steps to have a troubleshoot:
1.Perform a clean boot to verify whether it is caused by a third party software.
How to perform a clean boot in Windows
http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
2.Condsidering this symptom is a little weired. Please perform a full scan with an antivirus software ,we may need to do this in a safe mode to improve the scan quality.
3.Run "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth "or "sfc /scannow" to check the health of the system files.
4.Login with another account to have a check.

If the issue occurred recently ,we also can try a system restore as S.Sengupta suggested to recover the machine to a previous normal point .

Considering when the behavior occurs, I would look foremost at third party applications that add items to the right-click menu (context menu). This would include software that installs with some drivers, like graphics card control software.
