restoring my preistalled windows

Hi,

Windows 8 was preinstalled in my laptop when i bought and automatically was upgraded to windows 8.1. A few days i used a key for windows 8.1 Pro, found in internet. The installation was successfully completed but the windows was not activated, probably the key was illegal. Now i want to restore my preinstalled factory windows. Can i do it? and how i do it? Please.

Time to do a complete re-install/refresh from a legitimate key

In order to determine the actual state Windows is in, run this command in an elevated command prompt and then paste the contents of report.txt in your reply:


 Licensingdiag.exe -report %userprofile%\desktop\report.txt -log %userprofile%\desktop\repfiles.cab
