replies with different TTL values from different operating systems
When we ping different operating systems such as MS, Linux or CISCO hard wares, we receive replies via the above mentioned with different TTL values. We know that this is so obvious and technically it does not concern the support topics, but this issue has become a riddle in the past six months to our team. Not to mention our quest over the net, which appeared to be useless! We would be thankful to those who provide us with a concise answer so that we can lean on to it. "Why we receive different TTL values from different OSs in the ping process? Is this some sort of a factory default or there lies a technical point in it?" 1 person needs an answerI do too

Well this is obvious that different OS TTL values differ from each other by default even if they are located locally. So its not an issueSohail Khan
