replacing a wireless connection profile
We recently replaced the wireless router that provides the wireless connection for the bar's customers. The new router is set to the mode WPA/WPA2-Mixed. On my laptop, running XP, merely changing the settings in the properties for the connection was not sufficient. I removed the old property and used the wizard to establish a connection, and it worked. Examining the new profile, I noticed the mode selected by the wizard is WPA2-PSK. In a laptop running Vista, the same result happened trying to just change the mode in the wireless connection profile. However, the Wireless Networks tab in the Wireless Network Connection Properties is missing. I can't just delete the old profile and create new one. How do I delete the old property so the wizard can establish a correct connection to the wireless router? The Vista laptop worked with the old router, just as my XP laptop did. Thanks, Wayne

To remove a wireless network connection in Vista, go to Control Panel > Classic View > Network and Sharing Center > Manage Wireless Networks (in the left pane) and right-click the one you want to Remove.
