repeat of virus
the first time i installed windows 7 i did what i normally would do, surf the web etc. then i'd run my AV program. (malwarebytes) it came up with "hijack.display.properties". i deleted it without a second thought. then a couple days later windows 7 crashed etc. so i rebooted windows fresh install. then i reinstalled malwarebytes scanned it, and it came up with the same virus. just out of curiousity could that just be a registry file pre-built into the beta that malwarebytes could be mistaking as a virus?

I'm not sure that malwarebytes is supported on Win7 at this time.http://www.sevenforums.com/system-security/1473-display-hijack.htmlThat appears to be actually native to the OS.

thanks for the reply.coincidentally10 minutes after i posted that question win7 crashed on me. so i've downgraded back to vista because i don't have the time to tinker with the beta even though i'm going to get back into within the month. i scanned malwarebytes again while on vistaand it gave me that same hijack virus blah blah, so i figured the program became faulty and switched to avg.thanks again.sincerely hobbs.
