remove boot menu Windows 7
Looks like it is working now. I made the mistake to remove the "check" thinking there would be NO recoverymenu at all. It turns out you have to check the item and set a low time.

When Windows 7 is shut down incorrectly the bootmenu with safe-mode etc. will show. After a time-out the computer starts normally. I want to either disable that screen/menu completely and have Windows start normally all the time or change the time-out to 1 second. Is that possible and how do I do it?

Try setting the "Time to display recovery options when needed" http://en.kioskea.net/faq/29806-windows-7-set-the-duration-for-displaying-recovery-options
