regarding windows 7 backup on multiple storage devices
I have two internal drives and one external. 1. I would like to have two backups running, is there such an option? I'd like to have one backup on my external drive and one on my internal. 2. A followup question is: my internal drive is much smaller and thus I would backup without the image, whereas the external would include the image. Again, can I have two backups, one with image, one without? It seems silly if I cannot schedule more than one. 3. I know it is possible to schedule the task manager to schedule image backup, can a backup be scheduled for specific folders (i.e. not a full image) so I can back this up to my smaller drive?

By default, we can only setup one backup setting in Backup and Restore. Thus we cannot create 2 backup copies unless we do that manually: Setup the first backup to backup files onto hard drive. After finish, use "Change settings" to setup another backup to backup onto USB drive.

Win7 by default doesnt support multiple schedules. But there is a workaround to your problem. You can schedule the file backup only to internal hard disk using setup backup option. Using create a system image backup, you can create one time system image backup. You can also schedule a system image backup using wbadmin option. You can schedule the wbadmin script to achieve the desired schedule.
