regarding uninstalling a software
Iam using windows 8.1 in my laptop. When we install a software where does it get stored in local disk C ? When we uninstall it will the complete files and folders are removed or do we need to delete some files manually? If i install and uninstall same software will the performance of my laptop is

When you're installing software, usually one of the screens will show and give you an option to install it in a specific directory. Usually it's C:\Program files\Name of software - or something to that effect. Uninstalling and reinstalling software does not affect performance and as long as the software is legit and uninstalled properly, you shouldn't have to remove files manually.

All the files regarding the software can be found in only that directory to where we installed our software ?

Hi prudhvi,

For the software installed using executable files (At least most of them), if should be installed in the folder C:\Program files.

For the Apps installed from Windows Store, they are mamaged in a different way. Generally uninstall them from Windows Store will make it clear.

The default installation location of Windows Store apps is in drive C. If you would like to change it, you may check this scripts:
