Why? Are you having issues with your Registry? If not, don't mess with it.
BTW, "good reg cleaner" is a paradox, like "military intelligence". Those words should
never be used in the same sentence.

There is NO good registry cleaners. They are all bad and snakeoil:
Read what Mark Russinovich wrote about those useless tools:
"I haven't and never will implement a Registry cleaner since it's of little practical use on anything other than Win2K terminal servers and developing one that's both safe and effective requires a huge amount of application-specific knowledge."

Well sometimes a little snakeoil is needed.
live scanner does a great job, and as it is Microsoft they know (or should know) better than any third party.

I see Carey Frisch MVP agrees with you: Microsoft Windows Live OneCare is
snakeoil.
Rather odd timing, marked Answer more than two months later. But just
minutes before another of my posts was deleted.
Coincidence? Or
not? Brent Serbus MSFT suggested concerns like this be discussed in the forum where it occurs. So, here it is.
Carey, do you have any comments to supplement your markup? It gives the appearance of being motivated by
other factors.
