reducing the disconnected sessions idle time.
i have to reduce the idle time to 1 or 2 seconds for the sessions that is not in use, when viewed by netsession command in windows 2000 machine acting as server. I made autodisconnect parameter of lanmanserver to 0 in registry but still idle time is 10 to 11 seconds before disconnecting it.

Hi, According the issue, please try another number, the numerical range of this parameter is -1 to 4294967295. -1: Turn off the disconnect 0: autodisconnect all the time Also you may try the following command to set this: Net Config Server /autodisconnect:1 Hope that helps Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. yes the range is -1 to 4294967295 but if I make autodisconnect to 1 then it will take 1 minute before disconnecting it which is much more if I set autodisconnect parameter to 0. If I make autodisconnect to -1 it will never disconnect. My question is how to reduce that idle session time from 10 seconds to 1or 2 seconds. thanks for reply
