red question mark on mapped network drive
red question mark on mapped network driveWe are on a network, and one particular person when she logs into her computer (laptop with wireless capabilities and she is the only person who uses that computer) her personal folder (that is on a local share point and is automatically networked when she logs in) has a red question mark over it. I have searched online, and can't really find any mention of a red question mark or what it would even mean on the network drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated!2 people need an answerI do too

If you go to the command prompt on her computer and type NET USE it will give you a better idea to why the red question mark is there. Most likely it's just because the connection is 'disconnected'. Using Windows Explorer to navigate to it will cause Windows to automatically reconnect to the network share, if possible, and the question mark should go away.C:\> NET USEStatus Local Remote Network -------------------------------------------------------------------------------Disconnected Z: \\127.0.0.1\share Microsoft Windows NetworkThe command completed successfully.C:\> NET USE Z:Local name Z:Remote name \\127.0.0.1\shareResource type DiskStatus Disconnected# Opens 0# Connections 1The command completed successfully.
