hi there, I used windows 7 ultimate x86 to encrypt one partition of an external flash drive. I had to reinstall the windows for some reason. the point is, Now when I plug the external flash drive, it asks for the recovery key, not the password I used to use to unlock the drive and I've lost the recovery key, but I do know the password I used for decrypting the volume. can I retrieve my information and if yes how ? thanks in advance regards,

connect your drive and execute this command using elevated command prompt. >manage-bde -protectors -get d: where d is the drive letter.
