Unless you backed them up somewhere or you have your email set to save copies on the mail server, they are gone.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

can someone help me recover them?or only the windows live support team?i have posted questions regarding my problem at the forum of the windows live solution center 4 days ago but there was no answer.should i contact with someone else because i'm not sure about the settings of the mail server?

Supposedly the only venue for Windows Live support is at the Windows Live Solution Center forums. Possibly someone else knows how to contact the Windows Live Mail people. But you know, it's free webmail. Usually you don't expect (or get) much service on a free webmail account. If you were reading your email only online and not downloading it into an email client like Outlook Express, the "leave copy of emails on the server" isn't applicable anyway. If the Windows Live server maintenance people haven't purged the server there is a slim possibility you could get your emails back but that's just a guess on my part. Good luck. i suppose you couldn't check it out if i gave you my e-mail adress?sorry to bother you but you are the only person who really paid attention to my problem.the thing is that someone used my account, deleted my sent messages and probably sent some pretending to be me and i need to have them back in order to find out in what extent my account has been used.i need to know desperately.thank you for your concern.

Although I'm sympathetic (and you are no bother), I don't work for Microsoft and have no ability to check out anything on Windows Live. I found this link which might be marginally more helpful: http://windowslivehelp.com/solution.aspx?solutionid=6ea0c7b3-1473-4176-b03f-145b951dcb41 Otherwise all I can suggest is that you assume your account has been completely compromised and close it.
