Hi,What's the file? Sometimes the read-only attribute is by design. If you want to modify this attribute, I would like to share the following KBs, it may be helpful. You cannot view or change the Read-only or the System attributes of folders in Windows Server 2003, in Windows XP, in Windows Vista or in Windows 7Unable to remove Read-Only attribute from folderBest RegardsDale

Using Windows7, I have the same problem with a Game mod. The file creator is the owner of the mod - all files are read-only and refusing to be changed with the procedure mentioned here. Another question needs to be answered: Does any download into such file will be correct? I am very grateful for some advise.
