I recently updated My laptop which i've had for 6 months now, since then programs I open everyday have stopped opening. When i click on them the cursor shows signs of loading and the process opens on the task manager but then seems to stop loading and not open and also disappear from task manager!! this fault stops me opening firefox, itunes and other such programs but programs such as internet explorer do open. I have ran anti virus scans and there is no signs of virus or malware, I have tried the system recovery that other threads recommend and still no joy!! I did a disc cleanup and a discdefragment also previous to this fault, is there anything anyone can recommend all suggestions and help will be listend to, thanks!! oh by the way i am operating a windows 7 home premium
