programs halts, when we try printing from a network printer.
We have a print server and a GPO mapping our printers to the correct users. This worked fine with Windows XP, but after we upgraded to Windows 7. Some users experience, that programs stalls when printing. When using Outlook 2010, this happens during the preview, before the job is even sent to the printer. If we remove the printers and use the printer "Send to OneNote", then it works fine. If we try to reinstall the network printer, or installs another network printer, it fails again. If the user logs off and on again, it is again possible to print. What is happening? We don't get much info from the Windows program log, it just says, that the program we print from stopped working. These programs are usually Word, Outlook and Adobe Reader

Hi, It could be a networking issue or driver issue. I suggest download the latest network adapter driver for Windows 7 from the manufacture's site. Go to Device Manager to uninstall the current one and reinstall the new one. Also make sure the printer driver for Windows 7 has been installed. If the issue persists, try to add the printer to local. 1. Go to Devices and Printers 2. Click Add a printer 3. In the Add Printer Wizard, select Add a local printer. 4. On the Choose a printer port page, make sure that the Use an existing port option button and the recommended printer port are selected, and then click Next. 5. On the Install the printer driver page, select the printer manufacturer and model, and then click Next.
