problems with win32 services
The message "Generic Host Processor for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close" every time any program looks for files or folders, including the control panel. This happened after the latest windows updates.1 person got this answerI do too

I found a suggestion that this was the result of having an outdated HP driver. I had just loaded an old HP9110 with an ailing scanner. I got the new HP drivers, but the scanner still tried to load, couldn't (because it's broken) and the problems appeared again. I deleted both the printer and fax from the "Printers" section, disconnected the printer and the problems went away.
