problems with connecting 2 wireless laptops and a wired desktop at the same time.
ok i have a internet connection issue. i have a virgin modem connected to a buffalo router, from the router i have wireless signals being sent to two dell laptops, one is xp and one is vista, also via an ethernet cable i have an xp desktop connected to router. this setup leaves all computer connected to the internet but browsers act as if offline, though i can get programs such as msn messenger working. when i connect desktop direct to modem, it works fine with obviously no wireless as the router has been bi-passed. also when i connect the modem to the router with no ethernet cable running to desktop, all wirelesses work fine. heres the kicker, when i connect the modem to the router and just have wireless signal, and then get a wireless usb for the desktop, again the browsers dont work on anything, though everything connects to the wireless signal.3 people need an answerI do too
