problem with windows battery symbol

hi!

I have a Win8.1 computer with 2 batteries. If I have both batteries inserted at powerup, Windows shows me the percentage of both batteries. If I Change one of the batteries, the percentage is updated --> everything okay.

But if I remove one of the batteries, the percentage will not be updated. The display does not change to"not available".

If I insert only one battery at powerup, Windows shows me "not available" for the missing battery --> okay. But if I insert a second battery, the Display doesn't change to show a percentage.

The only way to update the display is to start the device Manager, select the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery, disable it and enable it again.

Is there any way to make Windows update the without this trick???

 thank you in advance!

Hi A.Binder,

As your issue is related to Win8.1, we're moving your post to a more appropriate forum for better supports. Thanks for your understanding.
