I am trying to get Microsoft Visual C++ Express 2005 and the Platform SDK installed into it, however following the procedures outlined on the sdks download page I have run into a problem. I am trying to edit a file, but since EVERYTHING is read-only on my hard drive I am unable to. The tower was bought with vista pre-installed, so its not old files before anyone says such.
