problem with power profiles
I have a clean install of 7 on a partition. It seems that a custom power profile is constantly changed back to the default even with an administrator account. This adversely affects a long compute program I was running which is forced to restart every time the computer goes to and undesired standby. This has been a problem with clean install of 7 along with all updates Windows MVP 2011-12, XP, Vista, 7 and 8. More people have climbed Everest than having 2 MVP's on the wall.
