Hi, Have you accessed and tried to start the service via Service.msc?

Error 1075 is "ERROR_SERVICE_DEPENDENCY_DELETED" - "The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.".Run the Services Management Console (services.msc) and double-click on the Print Spooler. Then check the Dependencies tab - what displays? It should just be the "Remote Procedure Call (RPC)" service.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have been on travel status. The Remote Procedure Call service is not shown. It has been corrupted (I guess). How can this remote procedure call be reinstalled?

Does the "Remote Procedure Call (RPC)" service show up in the list of services in the services management console (services.msc)?

Thanks for your response. I am unable to find a services management console. If you can direct me so I can find the services.msc, I would check to find the answer to your question. I note in the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) that the Print Spooler system component is missing. Is there a way to restore the Print Spooler system component?

You can run the services management console by clicking start, run, typing services.msc, and clicking OK. Alternatively, you can check Services in Administrative Tools in the Control Panel.I'm not aware of a way of reinstalling the Spooler or RPC services, short of performing a repair install of the operating system. Perhaps, you can restore from a backup or use a system restore point to revert the system to a point in time when things were working?

I have a back up on a hard disk. Do you know what is needed to restore from the backup. Also, how can I revert the system to a point in time when the print spooler was available? Thanks for your help.

My problem was almost exactly the same, but the error that came up was Error 1068. "The dependency service does not exist."I found that, along with RPC, there was a dependency named LexBce Server listed. When I looked at it, it was Disabled. I changed it to Automatic and was able to Start the Print Spooler service. Thanks for the advice!! I wouldn't have gotten the printer working without it :)
