print spooler keeps turning off
All of a sudden the print spooler is off and won't recognize my HP printer. I installed new driver software for the printer, but that didn't really change anything. I can go into local services and turn the print spooler back on, but it won't
stay on.

Hi Big,
Thank you for your question.
We could run service.msc in Run, then
In General table:
stop and re-start the service of Print Spooler, and configure startup type into automatic,
In Log On table:
Choose Local System account and check Allow service to interact with desktop
In recovery table, please make sure:
First failure: Restart the Service
Second failure: Restart the Service
Subsequent failures: Take No Action
Reset fail count after: 1 days
Restart service after: 1 minutes
Then we could restart the computer to check if the issue persist.
If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.
Best Regard,
Jim
