I am facing the same issue. Infact, my dial up worked great until now. But for some time now, whenever, i connect the same error msg occurs, ppp link control protocol link was terminated. i have implemented all the solutions described on this webite . Did system restore and unchecked the options (CHAP one) as told. But there is no effect, same problem is occuring again and again. please help. is this some sort of bug?
