Beside deinstalling windows 7 and install xp on this new computer do anybody knows a solution?
There is a peer to peer network of XP machines running a MDB (access 2000) since 10 years now without a fluck. In this P2P network we bring a Windows 7 machine with a Access 2000 installed and all we get is an error path. We spend some time searching for a
solution, link manager but can't use link manager on this replica. Try to do a replica but still on the new replica can't do link manager. Revert back to what was before working perfectly with over 4000 record (with multiple "sub-records" like pictures, description
with each of them a path to different place in the computer used as a server)
Any ideas to make windows seven behave?

It's too bad you didn't do some research before you tried to put Access 200o on a windows 7 computer. None of Office 2000 is compatible with Windows 7. See info @ links below:
