You can use the DHCPUtil.exe tool to configure DHCP options on a Windows DHCP server. And you can start from here.

However, if you wanna configure DHCP options for a non-Windows DHCP server, please refer to this post. Hope helps.

I'm not aware of any documentation specific to configuring DHCP 43 and 120 options on a Sonicwall but take a look at this white paper for guidance with other non-Microsoft DHCP services: http://blogs.technet.com/b/nexthop/archive/2011/08/17/configuring-dhcp-options-to-enable-sign-in-for-ip-phones.aspx

You may be able to use this as a template for manual configuration of the Sonicwall.

Based on this thread it may not be supported or possible: http://www.experts-exchange.com/Microsoft/Applications/Q_27434877.html

I have not used Sonicwall DHCP Server for Lync yet (most Lync sites using windows DHCP server), but if you have the latest sonicwall firmware you can goto Network | DHCP Server | Advanced button and you can setup Option Objects. (like 43 and 120). Each "option object" seems to support option array so from a quick looksee, it looks like it could be possible.

If you haven't come across it yet, this article about sonicwall/lync might be useful (apart from this case)http://windowspbx.blogspot.com/2012/03/everything-you-wanted-to-know-about.html

if you try dhcp server options and they work, please post feedback

You can find additional assiatance on manually configuring the DHCP Options in this article if you find that the vendor class ID is supported on the Sonicwall:

Does anyone was able to do that on a Sonicwall device??, as of today Sonicwall support still tells me they do not support setting up option 43 with sub options on their devices... Thanks
