pass through credentials for sharepoint list on ipad

I have a SharePoint Calendar that users are viewing on their IPAD, and I have the link to the Calendar saved as an icon on their home screen.
But everytime they open it they have to login with their username and password on the MS Forefront TMG login screen, to get to the SharePoint Calendar.   This is annoying for the users.

Is there a way to pass through their login credentials to this SharePoint Calendar, so they can by-pass logging in everytime?

Their accounts are domain accounts in Active Directory.

Please help.

thank you!

it would be easy if we could create a local sharepoint user account.  is this possible in any way?

Hi,

As the iPad is not a domain device, it doesn't have the capability for cached credentials. You could try to implement Single Sign-On (SSO).

Will the Single Sign-On method allow me to enable this only for 10 users?   I don't want it enabled for all users.

by the way, that link you provided doesn't display.

I'm trying to find documentation on Single Sign-on.

is this the only way to allow a few users to view a sharepoint calendar on mobile without logging in?

would I be able to create some type of application that would send the credentials from sharepoint to TMG?

Hi,

If you cannot open the blog above, please check the articles below that contain the same content.

Single sign-on (SSO) enables users to authenticate once to Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway and then, without reauthenticating, access all of the Web sites with the same domain suffix that Forefront TMG publishes on a specific Web listener.

Hi

I don't want to do the single sign-on.

I'm wondering if there is a way to create a custom application that would send the credentials to TMG from SharePoint , only for a few users, just for one SharePoint Calendar?

thanks!
