cannot delete any e-mails. deleted irems folder is empty. can still send and receive e-mail

Hi edaward68, 1. When did the issue start?2. What exactly happens when you try to delete the mails?3. Do you get any error messages or error codes? You may try to rename Delete item .dbx and check:a. Click Start, point to Find and then click Files or Folders.b. In the Named box, type Deleted item.dbx c. In the Look In box, click your primary hard disk (usually drive C), and then click Find Now.d. Right-click the Deleted item.dbx file, and then click Rename.e. Type Deleted item.dbxold and then click ok.f. Start Outlook Express. This creates new files automatically. Try to delete emails and check.Note: You may try creating a new folder and move all mails of inbox and delete items before renaming the folders.Hope this information is helpful.
