outlook express sends multiple copies of emails
When sending or forwarding an email with an attachment OE will send anywhere from 4 to 92 coies of the email and the virus protection program in the receiving computer will show the emails as containing a virus. The sending machine shows no virus when checked with AVG anti-virus program and no malware when checked with Windows Defender or Spybot S&D.

Hi Phxjack, Thanks for posting. This can happen occasionally if you have a email scanner or virus protection scanning any emails. For testing can you please disable and anti-virus and or email scanning utilities and see if the issue is resolved. Hope this helps!
