Once my machine has booted up I get the outlook express compact files pop up message. I do not and have never used outlook express for email, so why does OE issue this message. I have tried to remove OE completely from my machine, but all attempts to delete or rename files result in either a "file in use" message, or in the case of a rename attempt, the system creates a new copy. Full AV scans of the machine do not identify any trojan or malware problems and all security patches are applied.
