Contact Miscrosoft support for further assistance.(0X8007000E) and then when you click "ok" another message pops up saying Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be initialized. Outlook Express may not be installed correctly. This started after Windows did an update.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi donspool,Try Thunderbird_v_3.1.2. It has same look and feel as OE, but more stable than OE (IMHO).http://www.filehippo.com/download_thunderbird/Further, since OE is well woven into Windows (NT/2K/XP), OE problems often menifest in stability of Windows.Thunderbird is a stand-alone program and can be removed if you do not like. Thunderbird offers complete import of OE mails, address book, and other settings.

Start here. When OE crashes or won't starthttp://www.insideoe.com/problems/errors.htm#crash If you need to access the OE message store, it is found here.In WinXP, Win2K & Win2K3, the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show Hidden Files and Folders under Start | Control Panel | Folder Options Icon | View, or in Windows Explorer | Tools | Folder Options | View. The path to the message store will be very similar to this:C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{Long string of letters & numbers}\Microsoft\Outlook ExpressBruce Hagen ~ MS-MVP [Mail]
