What is the size of the file? Add about 33% to that for encoding.Bruce Hagen ~ MS-MVP [Mail]

Please be aware that these are two verydifferent programs. 2. As it turns out, in this case, it doesn't really matter whether youare talking about Outlook or Outlook Express. The limit on the size ofan e-mail message you can send is set by your ISP, not by the e-mailprogram you use. Contact your ISP (or look on their web site) to findout what the limit is. Great wikipedia page letting you know attachment limits for most common ISPshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_webmail_providers I find that a much simpler way to send large files is to use a service likeTonsho You can send up to 5Gb files via their website or 100Mb (I think) through your usual email program like Outlook. Free and paid accounts depending on how often you want to send large files and the size of your files.
