outlook 2013 doesn't read lync 2010's history files

Recently I've upgraded from Outlook 2010 to 2013.

Since then, Outlook stopped to read Lync (2010)'s history files, yet it's still showing the history until the upgrade.

Looking into C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Communicator\sip_<email_address>\History Spooler I can find the recent history files, and if I open them with a text editor they contain the most recent history (today's as well).

So it seems that it's Outlook 2013 that is not reading them.

What can I do to have it read the recent history?

Hi,

Could you view the conversation history from Lync client?

Please press Ctrl and right click Lync icon in the taskbar, open configuration information. On the open page check if EWS status and MAPI status are OK.

Please try to delete Lync user profile and user information on Registry with the following path:

%UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\sip@domain.com

Please also try to recreate Outlook user profile and then test the issue again.

Best Regards,
Eason
