Windows is behaving exactly as it should. By design, the built-in Administrator account in XP Pro/Media Center is hidden when you create a second user account with administrative privileges. This is because you're not really supposed to be using the built-in Administrator for your daily work. Unfortunately, many people do. Since you were using the Administrator account, you might as well continue to use it. Get it back on the Welcome Screen as follows: Enable Administrator account on Welcome Screen - http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_admin_ok.htm Make sure you have at least one other administrative user on the system so you will have an account from which to work if your own user becomes corrupted.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
