offline files help
Hey All, Just trying to get my head around these offline files havent used them before and read quite a few articles on setting them up etc. Heres my situation. We have a data store, on that data store are shared folders. each shared folder then has more folders in side of that. I've created a pst file from outlook 2010 and stored it on \\data store\sharedfolder\my profile\test.pst I've then set the my profile folder to always be available offline. then went into the folder and set the test.pst to work offline. however this then sets every other folder within the sharedfolder to not be available as it has set work offline through the entire directory. so my question is how can i make it so it only sets that file within the folder to be available offline while keepng all other folders and files within the shared directory online. thanks

Hi, Please double check if sharedfolder has been set as Always available offline. Meanwhile, this type issue occurs may be caused the incorrect offline cache. Please try to reset the cache. 1. Open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Sync Center 2. Click Manage Offline Files. 3. Click View your offline files. 4. Clear all contents. 5. Click the Disk Usage tab. 6. Click Delete temporary files. If the issue persists, please use the Method 2 in the following article. How to re-initialize the offline files cache and databaseKim Zhou TechNet Community Support
