notepad.txt access is denied
Hello, I have moved notepad .txt files from one folder from my program files to my desktop, I moved all the .txt notepads into a folder onto the desktop, however everytime I open the notepad from the folder on my desktop, it says "access is denied" and the notepad is blank (but it is not 0 kb) If I create a notepad file on the desktop, rename, move, open it, it works fine, but as soon as I move it onto that folder onto my desktop the same error happens, even with an empty New Text Document. I wanted to move the files to an external hard drive or flash drive, it tells me that make sure the disk is not copy protected or that you have administrative rights, and I am an administrator (only user on computer) I started the computer up in safe mode and right clicked the folder and went to the security tab>owner>Replace owner on subcontainers and objects box <--- I unchecked that, but still didn't work, in fact I don't even see the security tab without safe mode on. Also, I have put notepad as the default file to open .txt extension. Can someone help me?1 person needs an answerI do too
