nmsrvc.exe Application Error
Everytime the computer boots we get an application error, something like: Application Error, 0x66f1a564 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be "read". Then you have two choices, one to debug or the other to exit, nothing else. As near as I can determine nmsrvc.exe is a MS Windows program used for networking applications. I thought I needed to reload my linksys network software. I did uninstall that software and still had the error. That's when I realized that nmsrvc.exe is Windows program. Any help with this is greatly appreciated!1 person needs an answerI do too

nmsrvc.exe appears to be related to, at least in some cases, "Pure Networks Network Magic". Try uninstalling any such software, if you do not need it. If you do need it, consider checking for an updated version.

You are correct, I do have Linksys/Pure Networks installed (or I did). I uninstalled it thinking that nmsrvc.exe would also go away but it didn't. I am also having wireless network problems because of this problem. I can reinstall and look for an update.

OK. I wasn't aware of the relationship between Linksys and Pure Networks. Perhaps the application did not uninstall fully. Consider reinstalling and uninstalling again, or, as discussed, checking for an update.

I am running Windows XP Professional SP3. On booting up and exactly when I get to the welcome screen, my keyboard and mouse become inactive. Running all the diagnostics, there is nothing wrong with the wiring, connections, the functions of the keyboard and mouse and the software that serves them. Both keyboard and mouse work in F2 and in F12, but not when I enter into safemode.Last night, the computer showed no problems at all and I shut it down when I got done. After the welcome screen is on about 2 minutes an error message appears as follows:NMSRVC.EXE Application error. Instruction at "0x66F2deb9" referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read"Then below is Check OK to terminate Program, Check cancel to debug program. (I cannot do this since my keyboard is dead and the mouse is dead.)How do I correct for this? Does anyone know?
