new TEMP folder created in users folder
I have recently notice that in the users folder together with the two named users and public and default I have a new folder called TEMP. Now I am sure that there should not be a TEMP folder in there. I can log on to either of the users and have no problems with icons or programs but I would like to know if there is anything wrong with my machine. I have deleted this folder on numerous occasions but every time I run an application eg adobe reader or windows media center the TEMP folder comes back. Also when I try to delete it it does say that the NTuser.dat file is in use. Now this file is in TEMP/app data/local/microsoft/windows as well as myname/app data/local/microsoft/windows. I can live with it but like I say I was just wondering if my machine had a problem. I did transfer my windows 7 to a larger HD by using a clonong program EASUS I think, could this be the cause????

There should be no problems. This kind of files are created by your background programs. If you want to find which programs created the files, try Clean Boot Mode. How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
