Hi, May I know the exact error you received when you failed to access the share folder of the Windows XP computer from the Windows 7 computer? Based on my research, I would like to suggest the following: 1. Install the Link Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) Responder on the Windows XP computer: Link Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) Responder (KB922120) 2. Disable simple file sharing on the Windows XP computers which cannot be accessed: How to disable simple file sharing and how to set permissions on a shared folder in Windows XP 3. Try to access the share folders by “\\XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX<IP Address>\folder” or \\Computername\folder and see how it works. 4. Temporarily disable all the security software (firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc.) on all the computers and check if it works. Hope this helps. Thanks. Nicholas Li - MSFT
