I have networked my XP and Vista computers, and I can see logos for the main (xp) computer and the printer port on the screen of the remote (Vista) computer, I can access on the Vista shared files the reside on the XP. I get an error message when I try to access the (shared) computer on the Vists. I have installed the proper drivers on the Vista computers, and also the Vista drivers on the XP (which I saw suggested somewhere.) I get the mseeage that the spooler is not working. N.B.: I also have a program on the Vista that requires the presence of printer drivers on the computer before it wll print to screen--it will NOT print to screen, and says there are no drivers installed.My official name here is GenieJoan but you can sign me, Frustrated.GenieJoan
